George M. Dunkel, Administrator of the Special Districts Association of Oregon Consulting Services
As a strong proponent of cooperation between various disciplines and agencies, Retired Fire Chief George Dunkel is currently working as the Administrator of the Special Districts Association of Oregon (SDAO) Consulting Services Program. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Oregon Fire Chiefs Foundation.
Known as a very engaging speaker and for his practical approach to solving organizational “brush fires” Chief Dunkel has developed many outreach programs. He regularly assists special districts and fire organizations with consulting on board member roles and responsibilities, risk management, strategic planning, human resource administration and organizational assessment.
