Fire Chief, Greeley, Colorado Fire Chief
Dale Lyman is a 33-year fire service veteran who is the Fire Chief of the Greeley Fire Department located in northern Colorado. He is a National Fire Protection Association Certified Fire Protection Specialist. An experienced incident commander, he served on the operations side of the fire department as a company officer, a battalion commander and the Emergency Manager of the City, and was the Public Information Officer for the Fire Department for 14 years. He has also served as the Fire Marshal prior to becoming the Fire Chief.
Greeley Colorado has a diverse population of approx. 110,000 and is experiencing tremendous growth. Greeley Fire is a municipal, 120 member organization, delivering service out of 6 fire stations, and answering approximately 14,000 9-1-1 calls per year.
